Salah satu<br \/>\nperusahaan elektronik rumah tangga yang membuat produk AC menerapkan metode kaizen<br \/>\npada proses produksinya. Berdasarkan pengamatan metode kaizen, mesin feeder kurang efektif<br \/>\nsehingga umur piston system pneumatik lebih kecil dari rancangannya. Keausan dini pada piston<br \/>\ndiakibatkan oleh ketidaksetimbangan distribusi beban pada mesin feeder. Efek dari keausan dini<br \/>\nmenyebabkan meningkatnya frekuensi kerusakan dan waktu henti karena pemeliharaan.
