Fandi Dwiputra Suprianto, S.T., MSc., Ph.D.

Fandi Dwiputra Suprianto has been with Petra Christian University since 2006. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Petra Christian University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Combustion and Energy from the University of Leeds (UK), and a Ph.D. from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in 2025.

Active in research and scholarly publication, he has published numerous papers and serves as a peer reviewer for reputable journals. Among the awards he has received is second place in the Flow Visualization Competition organized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) during the ASME Fluids Engineering Division Summer Meeting (FEDSM 2025) in Philadelphia, USA, in 2025. As of February 2026, his h-index stands at 10 (Google Scholar) and 8 (Scopus).

His research focuses on high-fidelity CFD simulations and the development of AI-based surrogate models for computational efficiency and design optimization. Additionally, he has experience designing HVAC systems for industrial applications and holds patents registered in Indonesia and Taiwan.

Field of Expertise: Computational Fluid Dynamics, Fluid-Structure Interaction, High-Performance Computing.
