Willyanto Anggono is a professor in the Mechanical Engineering program at Petra Christian University, Surabaya. His research focuses on sustainable energy, specifically delving into waste utilization. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Petra Christian University, Surabaya; a master's degree in Engineering Product Design from Hogeschool van Utrecht, the Netherlands; and a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brawijaya University, Malang. Throughout his career, he has secured various domestic and international research grants and has obtained numerous patents and published scholarly works in reputable international journals and conference proceedings. He has also served in various professional capacities, including as a member of scientific committees, a reviewer, and a keynote or invited speaker. Furthermore, he has conducted research on combustion science in collaboration with international researchers from institutions such as the University of Liverpool (UK), the University of Leeds (UK), Tohoku University (Japan), and Sophia University (Japan).
