Yopi Yusuf Tanoto joined Petra Christian University in 2015. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Petra Christian University and a Master’s degree in Engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya, and he earned his Ph.D. from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in 2025. His professional experience as a drafter, mechanical designer, and project manager at various companies in Surabaya and the surrounding areas serves as a valuable asset in his role as an educator.
Active in research and scholarly publication, Yopi has published numerous papers in reputable national and international journals. He holds an H-index of 8 (Google Scholar) and 6 (Scopus). His primary research interests focus on polymer matrix composites and additive manufacturing.
